Happy People Prints is founded by Mariëlle Scheffer. Mariëlle is a Dutch designer and illustrator based in Amsterdam. She studied interior-and-product styling, graphic design, and communications.
Her mission is to pattern up the world and make people happy with colorful prints and patterns. From her lakeside studio, she creates her digital designs. She is inspired by nature, birds, flowers, and vintage botanical books. With her prints, she wants to bring some happiness and sunshine to all sorts of products like fabric, wallpaper, stationery, and more.
Marielle gets her own happiness from her family, flowers, colors (pink!), dinner with friends, and Fuseta, a beautiful little town near the beach in Portugal.
